Meet Dudley the Diplodocus! 🦕

Did you know that Diplodocus dinosaurs were herbivores? That means they loved munching on plants and leaves! 🌱 Dudley here looks like he’s having a particularly tasty day, especially with his new butterfly friend. Butterflies 🦋 are amazing insects with thousands of tiny scales on their wings that create all sorts of beautiful patterns! This little butterfly must have smelled Dudley’s sweet, leafy breath from far away!

Dudley has a super long neck, which helped him reach the tastiest leaves high up in the trees. Imagine stretching your neck all the way to the top of your house! Dudley’s smile shows he’s a very friendly dinosaur, and he’s probably thinking, “Wow, what a pretty visitor!” This black and white color panel is perfect for you to add your own splash of color. Will you make Dudley’s scales green? 💚 Or maybe bright blue? 💙 And what about the butterfly? Pink? 💖 Yellow? 💛 Let your imagination fly!

Fun Dino Facts! 🌟

  • Diplodocus means “double beam” because of the bones in its tail! 🦴
  • They could grow up to 90 feet long! That’s longer than two school buses! 🚌🚌
  • Even though they were huge, they likely ate only plants! 😋
